Actor, singer, disability consultant.
Ana Karneža is a Slovenian actor and singer based in New York City. A graduate of The Juilliard School and NYU Abu Dhabi, she began her career as a vocalist performing at major televised music festivals across Slovenia.
Ana is the first physically disabled actor to graduate from Juilliard and continues to advocate for inclusion, authenticity, and bold artistic risk onstage and onscreen.
In 2024, she became the first disabled and first Slovenian performer to win the Lotte Lenya Competition. Screen and stage credits include Good American Family (Hulu), The Caucasian Chalk Circle (Azdak), Wintertime (Maria), and And Then We Were No More by Tim Blake Nelson (An Analyst) and the recent Kurt Weill Festival in Germany, where she debuted a solo concert of Weill’s work.
